👋 Mbote!
It was a pleasure to accept the invitation to the first Kongo Central Economic Forum, held on 14th - 15th November 2020, organised by Kongo Central Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIKC).
The purpose of the Chamber is to assume the functions of Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Trades, Mines, Hydrocarbons, Energy, Agriculture and other economic sectors as well as the professional organization of Employers between Congolese companies and those in commercial relations working in the province of Kongo Central. The Chamber is responsible for promoting the interests of member companies from different sectors of economic, social, and scientific activity.
We took the opportunity to engage stakeholders from multiple industries in order to identify provincial-wide bottlenecks and share ideas on how best to mobilise efforts and resources to elevate growth sectors that have been neglected for a long time.
We firmly believe agricultural development is a growth sector and can play a significant role in the promotion of entrepreneurship, sustainable investment, and innovation in Kongo Central.
